National Node Onboarding
What an officially established Full Member National Node is given access to, and which coordination structures it joins. Use this page as a checklist when onboarding a newly established node.
Operational onboarding checklist
Governance and coordination participation
Officially established Full Member National Nodes participate in:
- National Node Board meetings;
- operational coordination meetings;
- strategic discussions concerning national coordination activities;
- other relevant EBRAINS governance and coordination activities where appropriate.
The National Node Board serves as a coordination forum, a discussion platform, and an advisory structure connecting the National Nodes with EBRAINS governance and management. Through it, nodes may contribute feedback, recommendations, strategic input, and national perspectives on the evolution of EBRAINS activities and priorities.
Communication and visibility support
EBRAINS supports the visibility and integration of officially established National Nodes through:
- dedicated webpage integration;
- communication support;
- dissemination activities;
- participation in community initiatives;
- visibility in relevant EBRAINS materials and events;
- coordination with the EBRAINS communication team.
The objective is to strengthen the visibility of national ecosystems, support community-building, facilitate engagement with national stakeholders, and promote collaboration across the broader EBRAINS network.
